Job summary

Desoutter Tools in Poland is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to own customer-focused projects from quotation through delivery. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering and suppliers to turn requirements into tangible, high-quality results and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You bring a technical degree, 2+ years in project management, strong organizational skills, and fluency in English and German.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, business, PM, or equivalent technical qualification.
• About 2+ years in project management or technical/manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, hands-on mindset with ownership.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Driving license and willingness to travel (to Germany).

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end from quotation to final delivery and handover.
• Create and manage project plans with milestones, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers; evaluate vendor offers.
• Review technical specifications after order intake and ensure scope alignment.
• Be main contact for customers; proactively managing expectations and resolving issues.
• Ensure complete, high-quality project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in on-site visits for reviews, clarifications, and commissioning.

Your role

• Own projects end-to-end from quotation and pre-calculation to final delivery and handover
• Create and manage clear project plans, including milestones, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers, including sourcing and evaluating vendor offers
• Review and confirm technical specifications after order intake and ensure alignment with agreed scope
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, proactively managing expectations and resolving issues
• Ensure complete and high-quality project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in on-site visits for project reviews, technical clarifications, and commissioning

To succeed, you will need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or an equivalent technical qualification
• Experience in project management or a technical/manufacturing environment (approx. 2+ years)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects on track
• A proactive, hands-on mindset - you take ownership and drive things forward
• Confidence in working with different stakeholders (customers, sales, engineers, suppliers)
• Interest in technical topics and ability to understand customer requirements
• Fluency in English and German
• Driving license and willingness to occasional travel (also to Germany)
