Job summary

Eaton is seeking a senior Manufacturing Program Manager to lead strategic programs across operations, technology, and quality, driving cost and benefit commitments and readiness for start of production in a fast-paced environment.

You will guide cross-functional teams, deploy Industry 4.0 standards, and champion lean, data-driven improvements while shaping organizational capability and leadership for complex manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing/operations or combination of Program Management with Operations or Engineering etc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a strategic manufacturing program, ensuring readiness across operations, production, technology, quality, and talent while delivering on business case cost and benefit commitments.
  • Manage the Program Lifecycle from planning through launch while achieving business case financials of the STP Program.
  • Lead and guide cross-functional teams to drive accountability and performance established for technical and manufacturing readiness levels at start of production.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans that deliver on scope, schedule, and financial commitments.
  • Oversee the deployment and ramp-up of (automated) production lines.
  • Drive the implementation of Industry 4.0 standards, systems, and technologies to optimize efficiency and digital transformation.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.
  • Partner with functional leaders to define organizational and capability requirements.
  • Define roles, performance expectations, and support a high-performance culture.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will lead a strategic manufacturing program, ensuring readiness across operations, production, technology, quality, and talent while delivering on business case cost and benefit commitments. This is a leadership position for a dynamic professional with entrepreneurial drive who can successfully lead complex manufacturing initiatives and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. The scope may include facility launches, capacity expansions, operational transformations, product transfers, and other strategic manufacturing projects, including potential greenfield initiatives.

Program Leadership
  • Manage the Program Lifecycle from planning through launch while achieving business case financials of the STP Program.
  • Lead and guide cross-functional teams to drive accountability and performance established for technical and manufacturing readiness levels at start of production.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans that deliver on scope, schedule, and financial commitments.
  • Guide teams from project initiation through planning, executing, monitoring, and closure.
Plant & Operations Leadership
  • Lead manufacturing readiness activities and coordinate operational workstreams to support program objectives.
  • Oversee the deployment and ramp-up of (automated) production lines.
  • Ensure planned operations meet production, cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Industry 4.0 & Technology Leadership
  • Drive the implementation of Industry 4.0 standards, systems, and technologies to optimize efficiency and digital transformation.
  • Develop smart manufacturing processes leveraging automation, AI/ML, IoT, and data analytics.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.
Team & Organization Leadership
  • Partner with functional leaders to define organizational and capability requirements.
  • Support workforce and leadership planning activities aligned with program objectives.
  • Define roles, performance expectations, and support a high-performance culture.
EHS & Quality
  • Ensure the highest standards of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) in line with global and local regulations.
  • Drive a culture of "Choose Zero" and continuous improvement in EHS performance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality systems, certifications, and customer requirements.
Business & Stakeholder Management
  • Define and manage budgets and operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, corporate functions, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing/operations or combination of Program Management with Operations or Engineering etc.
Skills
  • Experience in managing and leading complex, EMEA projects through complete cycle as a Program Manager. Experience with design of green field operations strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in Manufacturing Program Management
  • Strong technical expertise in Industry 4.0, automation, MES, smart factory solutions
  • Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership capabilities
  • Proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies processes and tools
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution focus
  • Visionary leadership and ability to design operations sustainably
  • Data-driven decision making and digital fluency
  • Collaboration, resilience, and results orientation
