Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an experienced DELMIA Ortems (APS) Lead Analyst to drive design, implementation, and optimization of advanced production planning and scheduling solutions. You will collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to configure Ortems and improve efficiency across global operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Fluent business English; additional local languages are a plus.
  • 2+ years with DELMIA Ortems and APS delivery experience.

  • Design and configure production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource management processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into planning solutions.

  • Support integration between APS, ERP, MES and other enterprise systems.
  • Drive testing, validation, and performance optimization; ensure go-live success.
  • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation.

DELMIA Ortems (APS) Lead Analyst

This position can be based in Hungary or in Poland.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for an experienced DELMIA Ortems (APS) Lead Analyst to drive the design, implementation, and optimisation of advanced production planning and scheduling solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to configure and enhance Ortems solutions that improve production efficiency, capacity utilisation, and operational performance. You will lead the technical delivery of APS initiatives, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, and user adoption.

  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of DELMIA Ortems (APS) solutions.
  • Design and configure production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource management processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyse requirements and translate them into effective planning solutions.
  • Develop and optimise scheduling models, business rules, and planning scenarios.
  • Support integration between APS, ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.
  • Drive solution testing, validation, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the full solution lifecycle, from design to go-live and support.
  • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation.
  • Partner with global teams to deliver scalable, high-quality manufacturing planning solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Fluent business English, knowledge of local languages is very nice to have
  • Substantial professional experience, including at least 2 years working with DELMIA Ortems.
  • Proven experience delivering Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) solutions in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Production Scheduling
    • Capacity Planning
    • Resource Management
    • Constraint-based Planning
    • What-if Scenario Simulation
    • Hands-on experience configuring and implementing DELMIA Ortems solutions.
    • Good understanding of SQL Server, data modelling, and system integrations.
    • Experience integrating APS solutions with ERP and MES platforms.
    • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with manufacturing transformation or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
    • Knowledge of APIs, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise architecture.
    • Previous experience leading global or cross-functional project teams.
