Job summary

Autoliv Poland is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to monitor quality through production and lead cross-functional investigations. You will resolve production quality issues, manage PFMEA documentation, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in Quality or Process Engineering, knowledge of automotive quality standards, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Technical higher education preferred.
• Min. 1 year of experience in Quality or Process Engineering, preferably automotive.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA and SPC.
• Experience with Control Plans, PFMEA and quality documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including 8D and 5 Why.
• Good English communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/ MES systems.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and accountable approach.
• Strong cooperation skills with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Support serial production in resolving process and product quality issues.
• Lead cross-functional 8D investigations and verify corrective action effectiveness.
• Work with control plans and quality documentation, including PFMEA and work instructions.
• Identify process risks and strengthen error proofing through PFMEA Go, See & Fix.
• Analyse internal PPM and quality KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate containment and disposition of suspect products.
• Participate in process and product audits and follow up findings.
• Implement lessons learned, Yokoten and Zero Defect actions with production teams.
• Conduct quality inspections and audits.
