Job summary

Aptiv PLC in Kraków seeks a Senior Software Quality Leader to plan and control quality deliverables across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with Automotive standards.

You will lead Software Quality Project Leaders and Engineers, manage budgets using RAIDA, and drive continuous improvement with ASPICE Level 2 and DFMEA/PFMEA awareness. Hybrid work with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and control quality deliverables and project schedules for assigned projects.
  • Assign Software Quality Project Leaders and Software Quality Engineers to projects.
  • Manage cost center budgets and resource planning using the RAIDA tool.
  • Ensure all released software complies with Aptiv quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Plan, monitor, and develop team capabilities.
  • Lead and manage the engineering team, including workforce planning, task execution and prioritization.
  • Coordinate team training activities and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Identify, develop, and retain top talent within the Software Quality organization.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams in Process Compliance, Risk Management, Lessons Learned, Release Quality Management.
  • Plan team workload and professional development activities.
  • Assign Project Competency Leads.
  • Monitor project execution and performance metrics; implement corrective actions.
  • Drive project execution and support problem resolution.
  • Participate in customer communication and represent the company at customer sites when required.
  • Embed a Built-In Quality mindset throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Define and communicate team development strategy to the Quality Director.
  • Support team motivation, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Promote and protect the company’s reputation.
  • Continuously develop professional competencies and qualifications.
  • Safeguard confidential information and company assets.
  • Assign QA Leads and manage project staffing.
  • Ensure effective use of QA tools for risk and defect management.
  • Review and prioritize Sampling Plans to maximize audit coverage.
  • Conduct project reviews and provide updates to Quality leadership.
  • Escalate critical issues to management and provide regular status reporting.
  • Monitor ASPICE Level 2 achievement and coordinate assessment planning in advance.
  • Use data and analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track resolution of critical defects and testing issues.
  • Ensure a minimum of 40 training hours per employee annually.
  • Lead SUP.1 process improvement initiatives and ensure timely deployment.
