Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a Production Planning Team Manager in Poland to lead the planning team, optimize resources, and drive process improvements. The role involves coordinating with Production, Quality, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Commercialization teams to ensure smooth execution and achievement of business goals.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, has at least 3 years in production planning or supply chain, and demonstrates strong leadership and data

Job description

The Production Planning Team Manager leads the planning team to optimize resources, reduce costs, improve production performance, and ensure smooth cross-functional execution. The role also includes driving process improvements, developing team members, and reporting results to senior management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the production planning team, overseeing daily activities, ensuring team efficiency, and supporting team development.
  • Monitor and analyse production performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to achieve business goals.
  • Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and improve overall production performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Demand Planning, Marketing, Commercialization, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination, smooth execution of processes, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement, resolve production-related challenges, and improve planning processes.
  • Prepare and present production reports and performance updates to senior management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of production planning tools and data analysis.
  • Preferred: SAP ECC and APO experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Action-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation: starting from PLN 148,000.00 gross per year.

Final salary will be determined as part of any final offer and will consider factors such as skills, education, role-specific experience, and internal equity among current employees.
