Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a proactive procurement/payables support team member in Łódź, Poland. You will assist in processing vendor inquiries, resolving payment issues, and supporting Ariba and SAP MM processes.

You will collaborate with internal customers, maintain accurate Excel reports, and contribute to timely vendor communications in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in an international work environment (incl. internship).
• Basic knowledge of accounting or procurement is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SAP Ariba and SAP MM is advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle vendor inquiries related to payment status via email and phone.
• Confirm inquiry statuses and take actions to resolve issues.
• Interact with business partners to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Review vendor statements and request invoices when needed.
• Provide training and support related to queries for McCormick employees.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• Processing vendor and business inquiries related to payment status on service center generic mailbox and phone lines.
• Confirming the status of inquiries and taking the proper actions to resolve.
• Contacting business partners to help resolve payment issues and invoice discrepancies.
• Reviewing vendor statements and request invoices if needed.
• Providing support and training related to queries to McCormick employees.
• Answering other calls & e-mails.
• Interfacing with other P2P teams & business units on daily basis.
• Supporting in Ariba related queries (how to check an invoice and payment status, advice how to upload issues, approval issues and other technical issues).
• Advising on Ariba P2P access and account visibility (users and Vendors).
• Supporting or send invoice copies to Esker or Shared Drives.
• Advising on PR or PO status in Ariba.
• Answering GL questions related to PR creation.
• Supporting Requestors in case of simple PR questions.
• Providing other general administrative support.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum 1 year of experience in international work environment (including Internship).
• Basic knowledge or experience in Accounting or Procurement.
• Basic knowledge of SAP (MM) system will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SAP Ariba system will be an advantage.
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers at different levels of management.
• Solid proficiency of MS Excel, Power Point & Word.
• Service orientation.

• Flexible and able to adopt to changes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
