Job summary

La Lorraine Bakery Group is seeking a Full-Stack Data Scientist for Production to lead data-driven improvements on the shop floor. You will transform raw process data into actionable analytics and ML solutions, collaborating with IT, OT and plant operations to drive efficiency and quality on production lines.

You will advance end-to-end data science initiatives, deploy ML models to production, and work with Grafana and Power BI to visualize insights for operators and management.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as industrial automation, computer science, applied statistics, mathematics, engineering or machine learning.
• At least 3 years of experience applying advanced analytics in a manufacturing context.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with cloud environments (Azure) and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Translate boardroom ambitions into actionable insights and smart solutions on the shop floor to boost productivity.
• Work in a cross-functional FotF team with automation engineers, food technologists and operators to improve energy efficiency, product quality and line capacity.
• Design and implement AI-driven advisory systems that guide operational decisions using Grafana and Power BI or interfacing with control systems.
• Develop data-based solutions to optimize performance and sustainability across production lines.
• Collaborate with external partners to co-create breakthrough solutions and engage with internal stakeholders from shop floor to senior leadership.
