Job summary

Devire Group is seeking an experienced Production Controller / Business Controller / FP&A professional to join an international manufacturing company. This hands-on role combines manufacturing costing, FP&A and business partnering, with a strong focus on cost optimization and automation.

Requirements include 3–5 years in manufacturing controlling, advanced Excel, Power BI and Power Query; ERP SAP experience; fluent Polish and English, with German as a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing cost controlling: monitor costs, variances, and product costing.
• Order cost and profitability: analyze actual vs planned costs and margins.
• Operational business partnering: support local teams to accelerate profitability.
• SCM and procurement controlling: monitor costs, supplier performance, inventory efficiency.
• Drive reporting automation and standardization using Power BI, Power Query, and AI tools.
• Planning & performance management: budgeting, forecasting and KPIs.

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Production Controller / Business Controller / FP&A professional to join an international manufacturing company.

This is a hands-on role combining manufacturing controlling, FP&A and business partnering, with a strong focus on:

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Controlling
• Strong manufacturing costing, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across local and regional teams
• Strong team player, comfortable with new technologies, automation, AI and systems
• Advanced Excel, Power BI and Power Query skills; strong interest in automation and AI tools, with relevant experience desirable
• ERP experience (SAP or similar)
• Fluent Polish and English; German would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Cost Controlling
• Monitor and optimize procurement, material, labor and overhead costs, activity rates, productivity, production efficiency, variances and product costing.
• Order Cost & Profitability
• Revier order-level costs and margins, analyze actual vs. planned costs, identify deviations and drive cost optimalization.
• Operational Business Partnering
• Proactively support, challenge and influence local operational teams to accelerate performance, improve profitability and drive accountability.
• SCM & Procurement Controlling
• Monitor and challenge purchasing costs, supplier performance, material price variances, inventory efficiency, supply chain cost optimalization and savings.
• Identify process inefficiencies, drive productivity improvements and deliver measurable, sustainable cost savings.
• Drive reporting automation, standardization and process efficiencies using Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and AI tools.
• Planning & Performance Management
• Budgeting, forecasting, operational KPIs, month-end closing and management reviews.
