Job summary

Voodoo in Warsaw is seeking a Product Specialist for our midcore studio to shape a key mobile title. You will collaborate with engineers, artists, and product experts to design, test, and refine features that keep players engaged.

You will run A/B tests, balance difficulty, analyze metrics, and iterate quickly based on data and feedback. Bonus: Unity experience and familiarity with mobile game monetization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in game design, product specialist, or similar role in the mobile gaming industry.
• Strong passion for mobile midcore and hybrid-casual games with an understanding of engagement and success.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven design decisions.
• Understanding of player psychology and what drives engagement, retention, and satisfaction in puzzle games.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design ideas to cross-functional teams.
• Iterative mindset to rapidly test, learn, and improve designs based on feedback.
• AI-first mindset: comfortable using AI daily and building automations to speed up work.
• Bonus: Experience with Unity or game development tools, knowledge of A/B testing methodologies, and shipping mobile games.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and artists to design, test, and refine features that engage players.
• Participate in creating engaging, challenging, and fun levels to maintain progression.
• Develop and iterate game mechanics to enhance the core gameplay loop.
• Analyze player behavior, game metrics, and feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Structure, run, and monitor A/B tests to validate design decisions.
• Balance game difficulty curves to ensure appropriate challenge and retention.
• Stay up-to-date with hybrid-casual and midcore market trends and competitors.
• Test and playtest levels and features to ensure quality and enjoyment.
• Prototype ideas rapidly and incorporate team feedback.
