CAE is seeking a Product Manager for Flight Management Solutions (Flightscape - Flight Plan Manager) based in Kraków, Poland. The role focuses on shaping the Flight Operations Solutions platform to support airline operations and dispatch teams globally, working across Engineering, QA, Delivery, and Customer Success in a hybrid setup.

• Full professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer insights and operational pain points into clear business and functional requirements.
• Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning; write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support discovery activities such as interviews, demos, and data analysis to validate problem statements.
• Collaborate with SCRUM teams to design and deliver functionality that adds measurable value.
• Prepare and run internal/external demos; capture feedback and convert it into actionable backlog items.
• Maintain feature documentation and contribute to release notes.

Job description

As a Product Manager - Flight Management Solutions , you will play a key role in shaping the future of CAE’s Flight Operations Solutions platform, Flightscape. Focusing on the Flight Plan Manager product, you will help deliver innovative solutions that support airline operations and dispatch teams worldwide. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, Delivery, and Customer Success, you will define, prioritize, and deliver capabilities that solve real operational challenges while advancing CAE’s mission of optimizing airline operations on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer insights and operational pain points into clear business and functional requirements.

• Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning; write user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Support discovery activities such as interviews, demos, and data analysis to validate problem statements.

• Collaborate with SCRUM teams to design and deliver functionality that adds measurable value for airline operations.

• Prepare and run internal/external demos; capture feedback and convert it into actionable backlog items.

• Maintain feature documentation and contribute to release notes.

Location & Travel

• Kraków, Poland (Hybrid working approach).

• Approximately 20% travel (domestic and international) for customer workshops and industry events.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Airline Flight Operations or Business Analysis.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to distill complex or ambiguous information into actionable requirements.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cultures and time zones.

• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and deliver results.

• Full professional fluency in English.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Aeronautical Science, or related field.

• Must have legal authorization to work in Poland.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data integration between multiple products.

• Knowledge of ATC coordination or airline operational processes.

• Exposure to agile tools and methodologies.

• Previous experience writing functional specifications and acceptance tests.

• Dispatch and/or Pilot license.

Base Pay Range

Our total rewards package includes base pay and benefits, with final compensation determined by experience, skill, location, and internal equity.

Base salary range: PLN 15,000–19,500 gross per month
