Job summary

Færch Plast Group is seeking a technically skilled designer to develop and implement new products in line with ISO procedures. You will test prototypes, prepare specifications and maintain data in the specification database, using SolidWorks for CAD designs and updating ERP BOMs.

You will collaborate with tool/machine manufacturers and colleagues across sites while visiting customers during validation processes.

Qualifications

• Higher education in a technical field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office.
• English language skills enabling fluent communication – a mandatory requirement.
• Independence, creativity, analytical skills, and general technical knowledge.
• Experience in the plastics processing industry (thermoforming of PP, APET, PS) would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new products in accordance with ISO system and department procedures.
• Conducting tests of new products and preparing reports.
• Preparing product specifications; entering and updating data in specification database.
• Designing new products using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)
• Preparing Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system.
• Collaborating with manufacturers of tools and machines.
• Collaborating with the other sites in the Group
• Visiting customers during the new product validation process.
