Job summary

Materialise is seeking a design engineer to develop and optimize parts for additive manufacturing. You will balance functionality, manufacturability, quality, and cost while collaborating with sales, production, and engineering teams.

Candidates should have a master’s degree in a relevant field and 1–3 years’ experience, with strong CAD skills and knowledge of DfAM methods. This role is on-site in Wrocław, with global project exposure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, product development or industrial design engineering.
• 1–3 years in a technical design/engineering role.
• Strong CAD skills and familiarity with AM/DfAM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize parts and assemblies for additive manufacturing.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Improve product quality and manufacturability through design improvements.
• Support scalable design solutions for series manufacturing.
• Engage with customers to share DfAM knowledge and project updates.
