Job summary

Philip Morris International in Kraków is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Executive to join our EU team and drive sourcing strategies across regions. You will manage end-to-end supplier selection, market analysis and cost-saving opportunities while coordinating with local procurement partners.

The role requires 2-3 years in procurement, a university degree, fluent English and Hungarian, and strong Excel skills. Hybrid work arrangement supported.

Qualifications

• University degree preferably in Business Administration /Economics / Trade or related fields of study.
• Experience in procurement, supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Fluent command of English and Hungarian (C1 or higher).
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMI regions, affiliates and Global Procurement teams to implement category and sourcing strategies.
• Lead end-to-end supplier selection processes, including competitive bidding.
• Conduct market analysis, prepare and manage RFPs, evaluate supplier submissions and provide recommendations for supplier selection.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in procurement, including sourcing activities, supplier management and contract negotiation within an international environment (candidates with another corporate experience would be considered as well)
• University degree preferably in Business Administration /Economics / Trade/ Procurement or related fields of study
• Project management experience from Procurement perspective
• Fluent command of English and Hungarian (C1 or higher)
• Strong analytical skills, solid knowledge and experience in using Excel
• Ability to analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and inform strategic sourcing decisions
• Customer centric approach accompanied with communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow up on projects and deal with business partners of all levels including senior stakeholders
• Proactive approach, self-driven and able to work independently in a cross-cultural business environment

As a Procurement Sourcing Executive in EU team, you will manage various sourcing processes and work closely with business stakeholders and local procurement team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMI regions, affiliates and Global Procurement teams to implement category and sourcing strategies.
• Lead end-to-end supplier selection processes, including competitive bidding
• Conduct market analysis, prepare and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate supplier submissions and provide recommendations for supplier selection.
• Negotiate commercial terms and conditions and draft, review and execute contracts.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance, innovation, risk mitigation and value creation.
• Perform advanced spend, volume and market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
