Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a Process Engineer to participate in deploying site manufacturing processes and industrializing new products at our Katowice facility. You will create manufacturing instructions, BOMs, tooling, Poke Yoke, and support NPI and changes with robust, well-documented processes.

You will work with global cross-functional teams, lead manufacturing projects, and deploy SPC, PFMEA, and Control Plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering in technical industry.
• Experience in development of manufacturing processes and project management skills.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, lean, DFM/DFA, PFMEA, SPC, DOE.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement manufacturing instructions, BOM, tooling, Poke Yoke for existing products.
• Lead and/or contribute to manufacturing projects ensuring robust, efficient and documented processes.
• Define production processes for new products in line with R&D requirements to ensure robustness.
• Define and deploy SPC in relation to product and process requirements.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers globally to support operations and optimize infrastructure.
• Perform PFMEA and implement a Control Plan for the product and production line.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support Manufacturing, Field Service and Repair Centers.
• As part of the global organization, support other sites adhoc.
