Job summary

Grid Dynamics seeks a Principal Engineer to lead an AI-first enterprise simulation platform on the NVIDIA stack for a global heavy-equipment client. You will own the platform architecture from day one, guiding a multi-discipline team and client leadership to keep digital twins in sync with real data and accelerate autonomous development.

You will design AI agents, set SimOps practices and drive scalable simulation across robotics, autonomy and synthetic data domains.

Qualifications

Leader with end-to-end technical ownership of the NVIDIA simulation stack.
Delivery of digital twins for vehicles, robots or industrial sites.
Strong AI background for simulation and workflow automation.
Ability to define and govern a multi-team platform architecture.
Experience leading multi-discipline teams and communicating trade-offs.

Responsibilities

Own the platform architecture of the AI-first simulation stack using Omniverse and related NVIDIA tools.
Define how digital twins are built, synced with real data and validated.
Lead design of simulation AI agents for scenario generation and analysis.
Establish SimOps practices to version, automate and scale simulations.
Guide a six-engineer team across physics, sensors, rendering, USD, robotics and data.
Represent the team in technical discussions with client leadership and explain trade-offs.
