Grid Dynamics seeks a Principal Engineer (Physical AI & Digital Twin) to lead the technical build of an AI-first enterprise simulation platform on the NVIDIA stack. You will own platform architecture from day one, coordinating with client engineering leadership to align digital twins with real data.

You will design simulation AI agents, define SimOps practices, and guide a six-strong engineering team across physics, sensors, rendering, USD, robotics and synthetic data to accelerate autonomy

Qualifikationen

• End-to-end technical leadership on the NVIDIA simulation stack (Omniverse, Isaac Sim, OpenUSD, RTX, PhysX).
• Delivery of digital twins of vehicles, robots, machines or industrial sites used in production engineering work.
• Deep AI background, including building AI agents that automate scenario generation, setup, execution and analysis.
• Proven ability to define the architecture of a simulation platform serving several teams with different needs.

Aufgaben

• Platform Architecture: Own the technical architecture of the AI-first simulation platform built on Omniverse, Isaac Sim, OpenUSD, RTX and PhysX, serving autonomy, robotics, synthetic data and validation teams.
• Digital Twins: Define how digital twins of machines and sites are built, composed and kept in sync with real data.
• Simulation AI Agents: Lead the design of AI agents and workflow automation that handle scenario generation, setup, execution and analysis, removing manual engineering effort and speeding up autonomy development.
• SimOps Practices: Set how scenarios, assets and simulation runs are versioned, automated and scaled.
• Technical Team Leadership: Guide six engineers across physics, sensors, rendering, USD, robotics and synthetic data, and align their work with the client’s autonomy, robotics and synthetic-data priorities.
• Client Engineering Leadership: Represent the team in technical discussions with the client’s engineering leaders and explain architectural trade-offs.
