Job summary

RITS Group, a Poland-based IT company, is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Data Architect to lead the target data architecture for multi-domain commercial data. You will design scalable models, define standards, and shape real-time integration patterns across CRM, Service Desks, and Analytics platforms.

You will own semantic authority for AI-ready data, ensure governance with GDPR/GxP alignment, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to modernize the data landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise data architecture or solution architecture.
• Proven track record of designing data backbones that support multi-application ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the Target Data Architecture: Architect and continuously evolve a scalable, modern, and future-ready commercial data foundation serving multiple downstream applications (CRM, Service Desks, Marketing Automation, Order-to-Cash, and Commercial Ops).
• Define Domain Models & Standards: Create and maintain enterprise Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies for key commercial entities (HCP/HCO Master Data, Customer Interactions, Service Entitlements, Commercial Contracts), applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to establish clear bounded contexts across commercial sub-domains rather than a single monolithic model.
• Establish Integration Pathways: Design real-time and event-driven data streaming patterns and API contracts to seamlessly synchronize data between service platforms, transactional systems, and analytical data lakes/warehouses. Apply Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles to guarantee consistency and scalability while preserving system and team independence.
• Establish Semantic Authority for AI-Driven Commercial Analytics: Own the semantic content of the commercial data domain — entity and metric definitions, calculation logic, business meaning, and permitted scope of interpretation — as the authoritative input to the enterprise semantic layer. Be involved in shaping the standards and validation gates that determine which commercial data products are semantically complete enough to be exposed to conversational and agentic consumption, so that AI systems answer from agreed definitions rather than plausible reconstruction. Ensure semantic authority and lineage survive replication, cloning, and aggregation across the domain.
• Align with Enterprise AI Guardrails: Ensure commercial data consumption patterns comply with enterprise controls for provenance, data protection, retention, and auditability, and that semantic scope and access scope are enforced consistently as data reaches AI-facing surfaces.
• Architecture Governance & Decision Making: Own and scale the ADR governance model across the Commercial data domain, and contribute to shaping the Governance Decision Records (GDRs) that set metadata and semantic standards, ensuring architectural decisions and governance policy stay mutually consistent. Ensure alignment with enterprise reference architectures, data security guidelines, and global healthcare compliance standards (GxP, GDPR).
• Manage Technical Debt & Modernization: Proactively identify opportunities to consolidate legacy data silos, reduce technical debt, and optimize the data landscape toward vendor-agnostic, future-proof data patterns, across multi-domain commercial environments.
• Collaborate & Influence: Partner closely with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, and Commercial Business Leaders to turn business capabilities into high-performing data products.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, or solution architecture—preferably within commercial, CRM, or customer service domains.
• Proven track record of designing data backbones or unified data layers that support multi-application ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, SAP, ServiceNow).

Technical & Domain Skills

• Data Modeling Excellence: Expert proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling (relational, dimensional, document, and graph models).
• Commercial Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial value streams across Marketing, Sales, Customer Support/Service, and Commercial Operations. Experience with Master Data Management (HCP/HCO/Account structures) is highly preferred.
• Modern Stack & Platforms: Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure Data Lake), API/event-driven architectures (Kafka, AMQP/MQTT, REST/GraphQL), and modern data tooling (DBT, SQL).
• AI & Advanced Analytics Readiness: Proven ability to establish semantic content that AI and agentic systems can reason over reliably — precise entity and metric definitions, explicit calculation logic, and stated scope of valid interpretation. Experience defining the completeness criteria that determine when a data product is fit for conversational consumption, and recognising where ambiguous or incomplete definitions produce confident but semantically wrong answers at scale.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Outstanding ability to articulate complex architectural concepts to non-technical business stakeholders and negotiate shared technical roadmaps.
