Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a principal-level AI Delivery & Engineering leader to set engineering standards for reusable AI capabilities across its enterprise. The role focuses on secure, reliable, and scalable agentic AI, with responsibilities spanning architecture reviews, tool contracts, and partner guidance across Poland and Portugal.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related.
• Enterprise software eng in cloud-native and distributed systems.
• Hands-on enterprise AI engineering incl. architecture and integrations.
• Deep knowledge of agentic AI orchestration and tooling.
• Experience with agent and tool contracts and interoperability.
• Knowledge of context, memory, grounding, authorization and oversight.
• Observability, AI evaluation and failure analysis.
• Secure software development, CI/CD, testing and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Define standards for agent and tool contracts, orchestration, state and memory.
• Review supplier architectures, code, configurations and evidence.
• Guide partners on agents, reusable assets and justified development.
• Set expectations for action authorization, human approval, safe stopping.
• Partner with Quality and Testing on behavior, grounding and traces.
• Review operational readiness, observability and recovery handover.
