Job summary

BELVEDERE seeks an experienced Power BI Administrator to oversee the Power BI platform’s administration, governance, security, and performance in Kraków on a 6-month on-site contract. You will implement governance frameworks, ensure secure access, and optimise tenant settings and gateways.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams to monitor usage, enforce security policies, and drive improvements across reports, datasets, and workspaces while providing Level 2/3 support and user

Qualifications

• 6–8 years' experience in Power BI administration and platform management.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI Service, Premium, and Fabric.
• Proven experience configuring and managing Power BI tenant settings, workspaces, and capacities.
• In-depth knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining On-Premises Data Gateways.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Microsoft Power BI Service environment.
• Configure and manage Power BI tenant settings, workspaces, capacities, and gateways.
• Monitor platform health, performance metrics, and usage patterns.
• Manage Power BI Premium, Fabric, and Pro licensing requirements.
• Implement and maintain Power BI governance frameworks and best practices.
• Configure Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and workspace permissions.
• Ensure compliance with organisational security, privacy, and data governance policies.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and user entitlement audits.
• Install, configure, and maintain On-Premises Data Gateways.
• Troubleshoot data refresh failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with database, infrastructure, and network teams to resolve integration challenges.
• Analyse capacity utilisation and recommend optimisation strategies.
• Identify and resolve report, dataset, and workspace performance issues.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Power BI users.
• Assist report developers and business users with workspace management.
• Develop and deliver user training and governance awareness sessions.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation.
• Support deployment pipelines and environment promotion processes.
• Manage releases, updates, and configuration changes.
• Ensure backup, recovery, and business continuity requirements are met.
• Participate in audits and compliance assessments.
