BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a Power BI Platform Administrator to join the Data Frontend Platforms team in Warsaw to administer and evolve the Power BI platform, govern deployments, and support the broader Microsoft analytics ecosystem. You will shape governance, streamline processes, and automate tasks while collaborating with analytics, data engineering, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Power BI in an enterprise environment, ideally within a regulated industry.
• Solid knowledge of data governance, data security, and cloud cost management best practices
• Solid knowledge of Entra ID and identity and access management
• Experience managing platform release, promotion, and deployment processes
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and working with Microsoft APIs for administrative automation
• A positive mindset and willingness to learn
• A proactive approach and the ability to drive technical tasks independently
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel to Denmark occasionally
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Administering and monitoring the Power BI platform, including capacities, licenses, workspaces, tenant settings, permissions, and platform health
• Supporting Power BI development, deployment, and release processes, ensuring solutions are promoted through environments in a controlled and governed manner
• Defining and enforcing governance standards, naming conventions, and deployment controls
• Managing and monitoring on-premises data gateways
• Automating administrative and operational tasks using scripts and Microsoft-provided APIs
• Contributing to the administration and governance of Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform environments
• Acting as a trusted advisor by providing guidance and best practices to analytics, data engineering, and business teams

Job description

You will be part of the Data Frontend Platforms team in the Data Enablement area. The team administers and operates a range of frontend data and analytics platforms that support customer needs across the organization. We work closely across Warsaw and Roskilde and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure our platforms are secure, efficient, and easy to use.

In this role, you will play an important part in administering and evolving our Power BI platform and supporting the broader Microsoft analytics ecosystem. You will help shape governance, improve operational processes, streamline release and deployment activities, automate administrative work, and guide teams in using the platform in a secure and scalable way. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining platform operations, governance, and engineering with stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, while also offering the flexibility to work remotely up to 8 days per month.
