Job summary

Skanska Group in Poland, with operations across Central Europe, seeks a Power BI & Data Governance Specialist to join the IT team in Prague or Warsaw. You will shape reporting and governance across Skanska CE, delivering dashboards and standardizing data language.

You will work with Finance and Controlling, contributing to data quality initiatives and governance practices while collaborating with multiple countries and functions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Power BI experience including data modelling, DAX and report development.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand business requirements.
• Interest in data quality, governance and business processes.
• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365; understanding of Data Governance or Master Data Management is an advantage.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Work with business users, mainly Finance and Controlling, to translate requirements into practical reporting solutions.
• Support reporting across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
• Help establish data standards, business definitions and reporting rules.
• Promote one common data language, shared definitions and a consistent approach to data across the organization.
• Support data governance, data quality, data ownership and business glossary initiatives.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies across systems, reports and business processes.
