Job summary

Jobtailor in Poznań is seeking a BI specialist to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.

You will build semantic models, translate requirements, ensure data accuracy, and guide end users in leveraging reporting assets. This role works with data engineers and platform teams to improve data availability and quality, and supports queries via TopDesk.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in BI, reporting, or analytics.
• Strong Power BI development experience.
• Good SQL skills for data querying and validation.
• Experience designing and maintaining semantic models.
• Solid understanding of DAX and data relationships.
• Experience gathering requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Understanding of reporting best practices and data visualization principles.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
• Build and optimize semantic models for scalable self-service analytics
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and KPI requirements
• Translate business needs into intuitive, user-friendly reporting solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting standards
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data models, and user adoption
• Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to enhance data availability and quality
• Guide end users in effectively leveraging reporting assets
• Support end users’ data queries through the TopDesk ticketing system
• Work cross-functionally with Data Engineers and Data Consultants to support stakeholders
