Job summary

Base.com is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to transform data into actionable insights that drive growth. You will own end-to-end BI development, from requirements gathering to deployment, applying advanced SQL and PowerBI to deliver dashboards and data models.

The role emphasizes collaboration with international teams, data warehousing expertise, and delivering scalable BI solutions in a fast-paced startup environment. Office-based in Łódź, Poland.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence.
• Understanding of data warehousing architecture and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
• Experience with PowerBI for dashboards and reporting.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Nice-to-have: AWS data components (Iceberg, S3, Glue, Redshift).
• Nice-to-have: AI-driven data structures development.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of BI development: requirements through deployment and adoption.
• Partner with business stakeholders and data engineers to translate needs into solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions using our modern tech stack (AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, PowerBI, Git, AI tools).
• Develop data models and build interactive dashboards using PowerBI.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and build automated reporting.
