Institute of Human Genetics PAS in Poznań seeks a post-doctoral adjunct to join the Department of Nucleic Acid Function (DNAF). The successful candidate will contribute to genetic background and pharmacogenetics research in inflammatory diseases, including IBD, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, with emphasis on anti-TNF therapies and gut microbiota.

Qualifications

• PhD in medical/biological sciences or related fields.
• Fluent English in speech and writing.
• Knowledge of genetics and immunology.
• Experience with cell culture and functional assays is desirable.
• Capability to work independently and in teams.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily laboratory work.
• Prepare vectors and conduct experiments.
• Culture cells and perform functional assays.
• Analyze data and interpret results.
• Perform Western Blot, flow cytometry, RT-qPCR.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication.
