Maj Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences invites applications for an assistant (F/M/X) in the Department of Pharmacology of Pain. The role focuses on developing research activities, planning experiments, and performing procedures using laboratory animals.

Requirements include a PhD in pharmacological, medical or related sciences, 5 years of animal work, and English fluency. Salary ranges from PLN 5,600 to PLN 7,280 gross monthly with standard IP PAS remuneration.

Qualifications

PhD in pharmacological, medical or related sciences.
Minimum 5 years of experience working with laboratory animals (mice and rats).
Publications in international peer-reviewed journals, at least 5 as first author.
Knowledge of CNS function and neuroimmune aspects of nociception.
Knowledge of animal models of CNS injury.
Advanced practical knowledge of biochemical and molecular techniques.
Experience with data analysis and manuscript preparation.
Fluent use of English language.

Responsabilités

Develop research activities aligned with the Department of Pharmacology of Pain.
Plan and conduct experiments and current scientific projects.
Perform procedures with laboratory animals and manage data archives.
Implement new research methods and prepare projects for funding.
Ensure compliance with IP PAS ethics and regulations.
