Job summary

Maj Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences invites applications for an assistant (post-doc) position in the Department of Neurochemistry to work on the NCN OPUS 22 project. The role focuses on in vivo pharmacology, CBD administration, tissue collection, and subsequent molecular analyses.

The candidate should have a PhD in biological/medical sciences, experience with animals, and strong hands-on wet-lab skills. The contract is for the project duration with potential extension.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in biological, medical or related sciences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vivo experiments using mice and/or rats.
• Administer test substances including CBD and other compounds.
• Collect and process biological samples for molecular analyses.
• Perform tissue preparation and preservation.
• Conduct biochemical, molecular and proteomic analyses on collected samples.
• Maintain accurate experimental records and sample inventories.
• Prepare results for publication and present at conferences.
