Job summary

UBS Kraków is seeking a Portfolio Implementation Specialist to support portfolio management activities, improve processes, and ensure timely implementation of investment decisions. You will review fund positions, coordinate with Portfolio Managers and Traders, and contribute to lifecycle events across asset classes.

Located in Kraków, this role requires analytical focus, attention to detail, and comfort working with multiple systems to drive efficiency and risk-managed execution.

Qualifications

• Organized and focused with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• At least 2 years' experience in an Asset Management front office or portfolio management supportive role.
• Strong understanding of asset management workflows (front-, middle-, back-office).
• Comfortable with multiple systems and keen to leverage technology to improve efficiency.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including Python and data modelling.
• Fast learner with interest in global markets.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach.

We're looking for a Portfolio Implementation Specialist to:

• manage accounts, which follow portfolio management strategies, implementing Portfolio Manager decisions in a timely and accurate manner
• ensure adherence to internal, client, and regulatory guidelines.
• review fund cash and positions, ensuring correct systems and overseeing data quality
• support new portfolio launches, transitions, and lifecycle events
• coordinate closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders and many other internal Asset Management teams
• initiate and drive ongoing process improvements throughout the Investments lifecycle, including ownership of ad-hoc projects.

The team

Located in Poland, you will be working within the Portfolio Engineering & Trading implementation team within Asset Management Investments. You will work closely with local and global Investments teams as well as functions across the business, performing a key role within the front-to-back investment lifecycle.

You will quickly learn all aspects of the role and use your knowledge to enhance team services and manage risks effectively. As a portfolio engineer, you'll play an important role in the timely implementation of investment portfolios with exposure to a variety of asset classes including Equity, Swaps, Futures, FX hedging, and other portfolio construction strategies.

Your Skills And Experience

• organized and focused, with the ability to work accurately under pressure
• at least 2 years' experience in an Asset Management front office or portfolio management supportive role
• strong understanding of the asset management industry, including front-, middle-, and back-office workflows (knowledge of investment processes and systems is an advantage).
• comfortable working with multiple systems and keen to leverage technology to improve efficiency and drive innovation.
• strong analytical and technical skills, including python and data modelling experience.
• an eager, responsive and fast learner, with a clear interest in global markets
• ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail, able to spot discrepancies which may be overlooked by others, and a hands-on approach
• self-motivated, able to work independently as well as within a culturally diverse team environment, contributing to a positive team atmosphere
