Job summary

Sii Sweden is seeking a control systems engineer to join our team delivering Beckhoff-based automation projects for transport, material handling and assembly in modern manufacturing plants and logistics centers.

You will develop and commission control systems, participate in the full project lifecycle from programming and testing to on-site commissioning at client locations, with extensive travel to client sites in Germany and Poland.

Qualifications

• Experience with Beckhoff automation systems.
• Willingness to travel up to ~60% of the year.
• Strong troubleshooting and testing skills.

Responsibilities

Join the team working on advanced projects in the field of process automation for transport, material handling, and assembly. We create solutions used in modern manufacturing plants and logistics centers, where reliability, efficiency, and precision are crucial. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and commissioning of control systems based on Beckhoff technology, participating in the full project cycle – from programming and testing to commissioning directly at the client’s site.

Approximately 60% of the time throughout the year will be spent traveling to clients in the Berlin and Dresden areas. Projects are most often carried out in a model of 3 weeks onsite, followed by about a week off in Poland.
