Job summary

BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a Platform/System Engineer to advance the Modern Workplace across Windows and Mac environments, supporting thousands of users in a growing enterprise landscape.

You will design, deploy, and secure the Intune-based platform, drive automation with PowerShell, and contribute to AI-enabled security initiatives within a dynamic, cross-country team in Denmark and Poland.

Qualifications

• Documented experience administering a large Windows organization using Intune or Configuration Manager/SCCM.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure AD, and Conditional Access.
• Strong security focus with Defender suite and endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the enterprise Modern Workplace / Intune platform and Windows 11 architecture.
• Manage Intune, Autopilot, endpoint configuration, application deployment and compliance at enterprise scale.
• Implement and maintain endpoint security baselines, including Defender, BitLocker, ASR, Secure Boot and related controls.
• Develop PowerShell and automation to streamline device management, configuration, remediation and reporting.
• BIOS/UEFI security and configuration, including BIOS settings, firmware management and compliance.
• Manage lifecycle of BIOS/Supervisor passwords with secure deployment, rotation and automation.
• Share knowledge across the team to raise overall competency.
• Lead AI adoption initiatives by integrating Copilot for Security into Modern Workplace evolution.

We are searching for a Platform/System Engineer. Workplace Development is responsible for the continuous development of BEC’s Modern Workplace concept and the evolution of our Microsoft 365 platform. Working closely with colleagues across the organization, we deliver a secure, scalable, and modern workplace experience that supports productivity and collaboration for thousands of users. The Senior Modern Workplace Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of workplace technology, endpoint management, automation, and security, helping shape the future of BEC’s Modern Workplace platform. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across BEC to ensure our workplace solutions continue to meet evolving business and user requirements. As part of the team, you will help drive the continued evolution of our state-of-the-art Modern Workplace platform across both Windows and Mac environments, which today supports approximately 12,000 users. You will work with the latest Microsoft technologies while contributing to strategic projects and implementing continuous improvements that enhance the user experience and platform capabilities. In addition, you will play an important role in a major transformation initiative where approximately 7,000 users will be onboarded to the next generation of our Modern Workplace platform. Building on a proven standard concept that already serves thousands of users, you will help evolve and extend the platform to meet new customer requirements while ensuring consistency, scalability, and synergies across our tenant landscape. The role provides a broad stakeholder landscape, close collaboration across teams in both Denmark and Poland, and meaningful influence on the future direction of workplace technology across BEC. You will join Workplace Development, a team dedicated to advancing BEC’s Modern Workplace vision and Microsoft 365 platform. The team focuses on delivering secure, innovative, and scalable workplace services that empower employees to work efficiently and effectively across the organization. Your direct manager will be Ian Egesberg Hilmi.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Design, develop and maintain the enterprise Modern Workplace / Intune platform and Windows 11 architecture.
• Manage Intune, Autopilot, endpoint configuration, application deployment and compliance at enterprise scale.
• Implement and maintain endpoint security baselines, including Defender, BitLocker, ASR, Secure Boot and related security controls.
• Develop PowerShell and automation to streamline device management, configuration, remediation and reporting.
• BIOS/UEFI security and configuration, including BIOS settings, firmware management and compliance.
• Manage the lifecycle of BIOS/Supervisor passwords, including secure deployment, rotation, recovery and automation.
• Knowledge sharing and sparring with your colleagues, so we can raise the knowledge level for the entire team.
• Help define the future standard for AI adoption by driving its integration into the ongoing development of our Modern Workplace concept, while strengthening security capabilities through solutions such as Microsoft Copilot for Security.

To succeed you will have:

• Documented experience in administering a large and complex Windows organization based on Intune or Configuration Manager/SCCM
• Knowledge about Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure AD and Conditional Access
• Good understanding of security and experience with the Microsoft defender suite.
• Be a team player
• A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
