Job summary

Cast AI is seeking a Platform Engineer to architect and operate CI/CD pipelines and observability for a multi-service cloud-native platform. You will build and maintain the internal tooling that enables engineers to ship reliably and securely at scale.

You will work with Go, Kubernetes, and Terraform across AWS/GCP/Azure in a remote-first, fast-paced setting, collaborating globally and participating in on-call rotations to keep systems healthy.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with clean abstractions and maintainable code.
• Production Go experience or strong systems programming in a comparable language.
• Hands-on platform engineering including CI/CD, GitOps, IaC and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with observability tooling and modern monitoring stacks.
• Experience in end-to-end project delivery and on-call rotations.
• Excellent English communication, startup mindset, and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines used by engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain observability and monitoring tooling for production systems.
• Create local development tooling to reproduce production environments on laptops.
• Reduce friction for other teams by solving infrastructure inefficiencies at the root.
• Debug complex issues spanning CI/CD, observability, Kubernetes, and cloud infra.
• Contribute to platform roadmap and backlog to guide future work.
