Job summary

OEC Analytics seeks a senior software architect to lead modular backend design and governance for the analytics platform. You will drive ADRs, enforce architectural boundaries, and collaborate with tech leadership and product teams on roadmaps.

You will guide contract-based module design, oversee AI tooling integration, and mentor engineers while building a scalable, secure, and observable data platform for the AI Analyst.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building software, with modular backend and boundary enforcement.
• Proficient in .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core and EF Core; experience with multi-project solutions.
• Written ADRs or similar decision records; strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Define module boundary models with isolation and contracts-only dependencies.
• Drive ADR process and audit drift between documented decisions and implementation, including agent-generated code.
• Author playbooks for coding agents and review outputs against specs; decide changes to schema, cross-module contracts, security.
• Grow shared platform library (eventing, mediation, auditing, observability) driven by real module needs.
• Define non-deterministic output verification via CI eval harness and governance for domain pack extensibility.
• Gatekeep new module and pack proposals, assessing integration cost, reuse and capability fit before implementation.
• Scout and justify new technologies and methodologies for adoption at OEC.
• Mentor engineers on platform conventions and on writing agent-ready specs.
