Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries seeks an experienced Operations Manager for the Gniewkowo manufacturing site in Poland. You will lead and develop the production team, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and manage budget and CAPEX coordination.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will partner with QA, Finance, HR and maintenance to optimize production, costs, and delivery, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing leadership, including managing production teams.
• Experience in project management and driving operational or continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and people management with coaching and development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Good command of English and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and zero-incident goal.
• Manage day-to-day production operations to meet targets and on-time delivery.
• Oversee shop-floor activities and optimize resource utilization.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Coordinate and supervise daily production activities with HR and Finance.
• Represent the Production Department during audits and industry events.
