Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an Operations Manager for the Gniewkowo manufacturing site. You will lead production teams, drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements, and collaborate across functions to meet targets and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, and strong English communication. A focus on cost control, CAPEX projects, and KPI reporting will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years in manufacturing leadership, incl. managing production teams.
• Experience in project management and driving operational/improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership and people management, with ability to coach and develop teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management across functions.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• High motivation, accountability, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Manage day-to-day production operations to meet targets, service levels, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee shop-floor activities and ensure efficient use of equipment and resources.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on productivity, efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
• Coordinate with other departments to support performance and business objectives.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and production budgets with cross-functional collaboration.
