Job summary

Vistulo Company is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst/Product Owner with deep payments expertise to own end-to-end product delivery. You will draft requirements, shape them with business stakeholders, and collaborate with engineering to build the software.

This is a fully remote role for residents of Poland or Romania, working through a Polish company for support and administration. You will own requirements for payment message handling, rails, and settlement operations, partner with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner experience in payments.
• Expert knowledge of SWIFT.
• Strong understanding of payment rails and the interchange between them (e.g. SWIFT, Fedwire, PIX).
• Hands-on experience with payment processing and the business operations around payment settlement.
• Ability to take on a problem and deliver the solution without needing to be walked through every step.
• Bias for action and execution mindset: drive requirements straight from the business.
• Willingness to follow through until issues are resolved and solve problems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to align work hours to maintain 5-6 hour overlap with US Eastern hours.

Responsibilities

• Bring deep payments domain knowledge to ensure technically grounded requirements and reviews.
• Define requirements for payment message handling, including SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 formats and mappings.
• Collect and scope requirements for payment flows across rails and their interchanges.
• Collaborate with operations to improve payment processing and settlement workflows.
• Translate requirements into Jira tickets, manage the backlog, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Run acceptance testing to verify delivered work meets requirements.
• Utilize AI tools to speed up requirements, testing, or delivery when appropriate.
