Worldline is hiring a Software Engineer for Payments in a hybrid role based in Europe. You will join the Acquiring Global Products back‑office team and contribute to a large, mission‑critical payments platform.

You will develop robust backend solutions with Java and Spring Boot, work with Oracle SQL/PL‑SQL, and participate in a modern DevOps environment including CI/CD tooling. On‑call duties are part of the role, reflecting ownership and reliability expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven software development experience with Java and Spring (Boot).
• Experience with database development (Oracle SQL / PL‑SQL).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve a large, critical payments platform used by merchants worldwide.
• Operate in an agile DevOps team across full software lifecycle.
• Develop robust backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with Oracle databases as part of the application landscape.
• Participate in on‑call/stand‑by rotations to keep systems healthy.
