Job summary

Autodoc is hiring a Private Brands Packaging Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of packaging strategy across all Private Brands categories. You will ensure regulatory compliance, sustainability goals, and data governance in the PIS while collaborating with Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Product Data, and Legal.

This role offers influence across 27 European markets and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
3–5 years in packaging engineering or management in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or automotive e-commerce.
Strong knowledge of packaging materials, production processes, compliance standards, and labeling lifecycle management.
Fluency in English (B2/C1+); additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy, creation, and optimization of packaging specifications and labeling standards.
Lead packaging development through product lifecycle for new launches and supplier updates.
Ensure compliance with EU packaging legislation and environmental markings.
Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Product Data, and Legal; act as primary packaging contact for suppliers.
Optimize packaging dimensions to reduce logistics costs and damage.
Manage packaging master data and documentation in the Product Information System (PIS).
Monitor packaging KPIs, feedback, and warranty insights for improvements.
