Job summary

ISS A/S is seeking a Finance - Invoicing and Accounts Support professional in Gdańsk. The role focuses on allocating funds, invoicing, and maintaining strong communications with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will hold a finance-related degree, have experience in cash applications and collections, and be proficient in Excel with strong English communication skills. Hybrid work in central Gdańsk offers development opportunities within ISS.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance and accounting, or be in final year of studies.
• Experience in Customer Set up and Maintenance, Cash Application, or Cash Collections, including internships.
• Proficient in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing: Process invoices using NAV system efficiently and accurately.
• Customer Complaints: Handle and resolve customer complaints related to invoicing promptly.
• Customer Support: Provide support via phone, Teams, and online meetings to address queries and issues.
• Revenue Reconciliation: Assist in allocating revenue to the appropriate month, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Account Management: Assign accounts to relevant personnel to ensure smooth workflow and responsibility allocation.
• Inquiry Management: Respond to internal and external customer inquiries, addressing ongoing billing-related tasks in a timely and professional manner.

Main purpose of the position:

In this position, you will be responsible for the allocation of funds. It is the process of allocating money to specific accounts to achieve financial goals to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet the immediate and short-term obligations of our organization. In this process, it is also important to maintain constant contact with our suppliers and prepare data for reports on these activities.

What will you do:

Professional skills you possess:

• A university degree, preferably in finance and accounting, or the last year of studies

• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing, allowing for easy communication with external and internal English-speaking clients
