Job summary

ISS A/S in Gdańsk is seeking an OTC Associate to safeguard cash flow by managing a portfolio of customer accounts, posting cash transactions, and resolving payment issues within a dynamic international team.

You will collaborate with OTC Managers and project managers, handle inquiries by email and phone, and contribute to accurate reconciliation and improved working capital targets while enjoying hybrid work in central Gdańsk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or student of economics/finance (preferred).
• Prior experience in Customer Set up and Maintenance, Cash Application, or Cash Collections, including internships.
• Proficient in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate posting of cash transactions to customer accounts, with a focus on invoice-level reconciliation.
• Independently perform monthly tasks, including the accurate posting of monthly sales reports.
• Handle cash allocations and credit notes, resolving related customer inquiries promptly.
• Generate and distribute account statements and invoice specifications, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Process supplier invoices for correct and timely pass-through invoicing.
• Assist in managing payment reminders and accounts reconsolidations as needed.
• Handle requests by email and phone.

Main purpose of the position:

The OTC Associate plays a critical role in the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process by ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, safeguarding the company’s cash flow, and minimizing financial risk. The position is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, monitoring payment behavior, and proactively resolving issues that may delay payment. By collaborating closely with customers and internal teams, the Collection Analyst ensures accurate account reconciliation, supports dispute resolution, and contributes to overall process efficiency and working capital targets.
