Job summary

State Street is seeking a skilled OTC Derivatives Middle Office professional in Kraków to support global investment managers through the full lifecycle of complex derivatives. You will engage in trade processing, confirmations, settlements, and issue resolution with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in Middle Office, Derivatives Operations, Investment Operations, Fund Accounting, or a related financial services environment.
• Understanding of OTC derivatives and trade lifecycle events.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
• Proficiency in Excel and operational platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage OTC derivatives throughout the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, validation, resets, amendments, exercises, expiries, and settlements.
• Process and monitor trade confirmations and resolve outstanding exceptions.
• Support cash settlement activities, investigate breaks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Partner with Investment Managers, Counterparties, Custodians, Fund Accounting, Back Office and Technology teams.
• Perform operational investigations and drive issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with risk, control, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and onboarding of new products and clients.
• Support knowledge sharing and development of junior team members.
