Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager to drive high-impact initiatives across the business and scale processes for global growth. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance, efficient operations, and robust governance.

You will lead complex projects end to end, break down problems into manageable steps, and influence across Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing. The role supports the Hungary branch in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree from a top university.
• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally financial services or management consulting in the Hungarian market.
• Fluency in Hungarian.
• Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations.
• Strong track record of ownership and leading complex projects end to end.
• Ability to break complex problems into smaller parts.
• Natural curiosity and willingness to make an impact.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key stakeholder for the branch in Hungary.
• Oversee day-to-day 1st line of defence functions of the branch, including governance, regulator interactions, and oversight of BAU operations.
• Provide adequate oversight and accountability with respect to outsourced functions.
• Execute scale operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing) in Lithuania, London, and other global offices.
• Monitor country-specific risk incidents and conduct issues and liaise with service owners to ensure proper controls.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as a key stakeholder for the branch in Hungary
• Overseeing day-to-day 1st line of defence functions of the branch, including governance, interactions with regulators, and oversight of BAU operations
• Providing adequate oversight and accountability with respect to outsourced functions
• Executing scale operations and working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing) in Lithuania, London, and our other global offices
• Monitoring country-specific risk incidents, conduct issues, and their resolution timelines, and liaising with the relevant service owners, ensuring proper controls are placed

What You'll Need

• At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally financial services or management consulting in the Hungarian market
• Fluency in Hungarian
• Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations
• A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• The ability to break complex problems into smaller ones
• Natural curiosity and a willingness to make an impact

• Experience working with regulators
• Experience setting up a branch in Hungary
