Job summary

Revolut in Hungary is seeking a Security Leader to oversee classified-information handling and ensure compliance with national security regulations. You will manage a team of TÜK agents and coordinate with state bodies to ensure timely responses to information requests.

This role requires fluent English and Hungarian, a university degree, and proven experience in classified information governance. You’ll build security processes from the ground up and report to the Financial Crime Operations

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (C1) and Hungarian.

• 1+ years of experience in classified information management in Hungary.
• Familiarity with Hungarian classified information regulations and National Security Authority (NBF) processes.
• 1+ years of experience managing a team of agents.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines.
• Sound judgement and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead classified-information handling processes and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Oversee personnel, physical, administrative, and electronic security measures related to classified information.
• Conduct annual compliance checks of classified-information handling.
• Preparing and submitting all required annual reports to the relevant authorities.
• Managing TÜK agents (classified-information handlers) responsible for handling and responding to classified information requests.
• Acting as the designated contact person towards relevant state bodies and agencies.
• Leading bereavement agents, supporting inheritance-related processes.
• Managing the daily performance of employees, ensuring productivity, quality, and adherence to SLA expectations.
• Overseeing the management of physical and digital documents (especially incoming communications that aren't automatically categorised).
• Managing the local physical office environment, with support from the Facilities team.

About The Role

Financial Crime Operations is at the forefront of Revolut’s efforts to keep customers and their money safe. Team members work directly with customers to resolve issues and flag potential concerns. Using cutting-edge technology and sharp attention to detail, they help prevent financial crime and keep trust at the core of Revolut.

We’re looking for a Security Leader to receive classified information requests from government authorities in Hungary. This is a specialised role with clear data handling responsibilities under Hungarian national security law. You’ll oversee all personnel, physical, administrative, and electronic security requirements related to classified information, while building the processes and managing the team needed for compliant operations.

What You'll Need

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

Nice to have

• To have completed the TÜK exam
• A personal security certificate (PSC) in Hungary, or prior national security vetting
• Experience interacting with national security authorities, including Hungary’s NBF
• Experience setting up processes for classified information handling at a new organisation in Hungary
