Job summary

Commerzbank Digital Technology Centre Poland is seeking an Operations Engineer to support the DocAI+ initiative, ensuring resilient operations across backend processes.

You will deploy pipelines, monitor performance, manage incidents, and coordinate across cloud, development and infra teams, with a hybrid work setup on-site in Łódź.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Google Cloud, SQL, Unix/Linux, and pipeline architecture experience, along with a proactive approach and documentation discipline.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud applications.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Understanding of pipeline architecture.

Responsibilities

• Deploy the DocAI pipeline using X-Bank CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code standards.
• Monitor application availability, performance, and processing quality to ensure stable operations.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Document IT issues and define effective workarounds where required.
• Support configuration, testing, and release validation for document-processing workflows.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of cloud operations processes.
• Coordinate deployments, changes, and service improvements across development, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain auditable operational records.
• Maintain deployment, monitoring, and incident response documentation.

About The Team

The role supports DocAI+, a strategic Commerzbank initiative to scale operational efficiency across more than 50 use cases in 2025. As the funnel application for DocAI+, DDE BPM requires resilient operations, fast issue resolution, and clear stakeholder communication to protect critical backend processes.

As a part of Key Area Group Services Data the mission of the Document Lifecycle cluster is to transform the way documents are used in our organization from the ground up. We enable a paperless bank by providing globally consistent, reliable and compliant solutions for document generation, scanning, electronic transport, archiving and digital document processing. The cluster builds and operates the front‑end and archive infrastructure required for efficient handling of bank and client documents and is responsible for a broad application landscape of more than 60 applications.

Your Main Tasks Are
