Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to help the Head of Operational Risk implement the firm's risk policy, framework, and systems across the organisation.

You will support risk data analysis, maintain operational risk databases, and prepare high-quality risk information for stakeholders, including Risk Committees. You will contribute to a strong risk culture and assist with training and risk-related initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Operational Risk experience.
• Strong MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Analytical thinker.
• Curious about how the business works and what makes it tick
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Able to ask questions and to challenge status quo in an appropriate way

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of risk data analytics to support high quality management information.
• Support the design of enhanced Risk MI and automation of data collection.
• Provide support and advice on use of Risk systems; manage user access requests.
• Participate in ERM projects or initiatives as required.
• Support oversight and challenge of Incidents with full analysis and documentation.
• Assist RACAs via risk management system documentation and tracking.
• Assist with development and rollout of Operational Risk training materials.
