Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking a senior risk professional to oversee enterprise-wide adherence to Issue and Event Management policies and to drive actions addressing root causes of operational losses. You will independently assess risks, communicate observations, and contribute to governance enhancements across the 2nd Line of Defense, while collaborating with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in risk management, compliance, governance, or controls.
• Experience supporting risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of operational risk concepts, methodologies and tools.
• Experience in a regulated industry (banking/finance).
• Ability to interact with senior management and present complex information clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee adherence to Issue Management and Event Management policy and standards.
• Assess risks and drive actions to address root causes of events.
• Contribute to 2nd Line of Defense coverage strategy for the program.
• Obtain evidence and communicate observations to program owners for remediation.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across Lines of Defense.
• Escalate material concerns to leadership.
