Job summary

CMC Markets in Warszawa is seeking a Business Continuity Analyst to support the maintenance and enhancement of the BCM framework, ensuring plans remain accurate, tested and effective across the organisation.

You will work with the BCM Manager and stakeholders across Technology and the wider business to coordinate BIAs, BRPs, testing, reporting and incident support, contributing to resilience and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Business Continuity or Operational Resilience in a medium/large organisation.
• Understanding of Business Continuity principles and ISO 22301.
• Experience with BIAs and BRPs.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BCM policy, framework, and standards.
• Assist in the annual review and maintenance of BIAs across functions.
• Coordinate BRPs and ensure up-to-date documentation.
• Gather information on critical processes, dependencies and recovery objectives.
• Coordinate testing exercises, plan outcomes, and track remediation actions.
• Produce reports and MI for governance and reporting.
• Track actions from exercises, audits and reviews to completion.
• Support maintenance of emergency notification systems.
• Assist during incidents with coordination and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BCM and resilience processes.
• Maintain documentation and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with teams to promote BCM awareness and responsibilities.
• Collaborate across EMEA and APAC for a consistent global approach.
• Keep knowledge of BCM and regulatory developments up to date.

CMC are hiring a Business Continuity Analyst to support the delivery,maintenanceand continuous improvement of CMC Markets’ Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework.

Working closely with the Business Continuity Manager and stakeholders across Technology and the wider business, the role helps ensure business continuity plans remainaccurate,testedand effective, supporting the organisation’s operational resilienceobjectives.

What you will be doing:

• Support the maintenance of the Business Continuity Policy,Frameworkand associated standards.
• Assistin the annual review and maintenance of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) across business functions.
• Coordinate the review and maintenance of Business Recovery Plans (BRPs), ensuring documentationremainsaccurateand up to date.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather information relating to critical business processes,dependenciesand recoveryobjectives.
• Coordinate Business Continuity testing exercises, including planning, scheduling, documentingoutcomesand tracking remediation actions.
• Produce reports,dashboardsand management information (MI) to support Business Continuity governance and reporting.
• Track actions arising from Business Continuity exercises,auditsand reviews to completion.
• Support the maintenance and administration of emergency notification and communication systems.
• Assistduring major incidents and business disruptions by providing coordination,documentationand logistical support.
• Support the continuous improvement of Business Continuity and Operational Resilience processes through regular review and analysis.
• Maintain Business Continuity documentation,templatesand records to ensure theyremainaccurateand compliant.
• Liaise with business and technology teams to promote awareness of Business Continuity practices and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across EMEA and APAC to support a consistent global approach whereappropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of Business Continuity, OperationalResilienceand relevant regulatory developments.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• Experience supporting Business Continuity or Operational Resilience activities within a medium or large organisation.
• Understanding of Business Continuity principles and recognised standards (e.g. ISO 22301).
• Experienceassistingwith Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and Business Recovery Plans (BRPs).
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse information and produce clear documentation and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel,Wordand PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.

Desirable:

• Experience within Financial Services or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of Operational Resilience requirements.
• Experience supporting Business Continuity exercises or crisis management activities.
• Experience using Business Continuity or GRC platforms.
