Job summary

Umicore AG & Co. KG seeks a Business Process Professional-SME Analytical Lab to lead continuous improvement in the analytical lab. You will develop KPIs, standardize processes, and collaborate with site management to realize cost and performance gains.

The role requires a Black Belt certification and occasional travel. You will mentor colleagues and benchmark practices to strengthen the AL landscape across units in a sustainable materials context.

Qualifications

• Experience managing continuous improvement projects in analytical lab or manufacturing settings.
• Gatekeeper of OE process; drive standardization across sites.
• Certified Black Belt required; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement across the AL landscape with cost-saving projects and KPI development.
• Follow up on site cost metadata and link to business results.
• Lead improvement projects delivering tangible business benefits.
• Identify improvement opportunities with site management.
• Benchmark best practices and manage an improvement community.
• Roll out KPI standardization and target setting across the organization.
• Manage cost drivers; support budgeting and financial modeling.
• Gatekeeper of the OE process, policy, and framework.
• Support OE roadmaps and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Be able to travel to other Business Units.
