Job summary

Creotech Instruments S.A. seeks an experienced Operational Coordination Manager to provide strategic and operational support to the COO in delivering the organisation’s business objectives.

This role requires a highly analytical, organised and commercially minded professional capable of coordinating cross‑functional initiatives, facilitating executive decision‑making, and driving operational effectiveness across the business.

Qualifications

  • Five years’ experience in operational management, business analysis, programme coordination or related discipline.
  • Lead teams or cross‑functional initiatives for at least three years.

Responsibilities

  • Support the COO in executing strategic and operational objectives with analyses, reports and decision‑support materials.
  • Coordinate operational initiatives led by the COO and monitor progress against plans and KPIs.
  • Oversee implementation of executive decisions, ensuring accountability and timely deadlines.
  • Collect, consolidate, validate and analyse data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor budgets through expenditure analysis and variance tracking.
  • Foster collaboration across functions and leadership to deliver projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and support design and optimisation of business processes.
  • Represent the COO in internal and external interactions and prepare executive materials.

Job description

Creotech Instruments S.A. is seeking an experienced Operational Coordination Manager to provide strategic and operational support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in delivering the organisation’s business objectives. This role requires a highly analytical, organised and commercially minded professional capable of coordinating cross‑functional initiatives, facilitating executive decision‑making, and driving operational effectiveness across the business. The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner to the COO, ensuring the effective execution of strategic priorities, governance processes and key operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Chief Operating Officer in the execution of the Company’s strategic and operational objectives through the preparation of business analyses, recommendations, reports and decision‑support materials.
  • Coordinate operational initiatives led by the COO and monitor progress against agreed plans, milestones and performance measures.
  • Oversee the implementation of executive decisions, ensuring accountability for actions, monitoring deadlines and proactively identifying risks that may impact organisational goals.
  • Collect, consolidate, validate and analyse data from multiple sources, translating findings into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Support the monitoring of operational and capital expenditure budgets through expenditure analysis, variance tracking and identification of inconsistencies.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration across business functions, senior leadership teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and support the design, implementation and optimisation of business processes.
  • Represent the COO and, where required, the Company in internal and external interactions, while preparing communications, briefing papers and executive‑level materials.
Qualifications
  • Degree‑level education.
  • A minimum of five years’ professional experience in operational management, business analysis, programme coordination or a related discipline.
  • At least three years’ experience leading teams, coordinating cross‑functional activities or managing organisational initiatives.
  • Strong analytical capability, with demonstrable experience in data analysis and business performance evaluation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to prepare high‑quality reports, presentations and decision‑making materials for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, self‑directed approach, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • English language proficiency at B2–C1 level or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Management, Finance, Controlling, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
  • Experience gained within a technology, engineering, manufacturing or project‑based organisation.
  • Experience in business process design, continuous improvement initiatives, organisational change and transformation programmes.
