Job summary

Frontiers Media is seeking a proactive business development professional to join our Publishing Development team in Warsaw. You will build collaborations with researchers and editors, recruit manuscript submissions, and drive visibility for our open-access journals through targeted outreach and events.

You’ll manage a dynamic pipeline, leverage AI to research prospects, and cultivate long-term relationships with authors and editors to grow the journals’ presence.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in sales, outreach, business development, or another target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Reach out directly to researchers and editors to build new collaborations and recruit manuscripts.
• Create and execute outreach strategies to increase journal visibility and submissions.
• Manage a dynamic sales pipeline from first contact to publication.
• Use AI tools daily to research prospects, personalize outreach, and manage your pipeline.
• Build long-term relationships with authors, editors and researchers to establish trust.
• Represent journals at conferences, webinars, and online events to raise awareness.
