Frontiers Media is seeking a proactive sales and business development professional to join the Publishing Development team. You will reach out to researchers and editors, launch dedicated collections, recruit Editorial Board members, and commission manuscripts to grow our growing open-access journals.

• Solid experience in sales, outreach, business development or other target-driven environments.
• Able to build new opportunities and handle uncertainty with a proactive mindset.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to engage researchers and editors.

Responsibilities

• Reach out directly to researchers and editors to build collaborations and recruit manuscripts.
• Create and execute outreach strategies to boost journal visibility and submissions.
• Manage a dynamic sales pipeline from first contact to publication.
• Use AI tools to research prospects, tailor outreach and manage the pipeline.
• Build long-term relationships with authors, editors and researchers.
• Represent journals at conferences, webinars and online events to raise awareness.
